Greetings my NAF brothers and sisters,
By now I am sure you all have seen the movie The Revenant. And I am sure that like the rest of you we enjoyed its entertainment value. But like most all things that come out of Hollywood, real life on its own is just not exciting enough to them so they have to throw their BS in it. Anyway I don't get paid to be a movie critic so I'll stop picking on the movie now.

I have seen a few AMM guys on facebook talking about how after this movie came out that they have been getting many inquires about their group. And I thought hell we'll be getting some new members outa this as well. It seems once again I am proven wrong. I don't know about any of you but I have not gotten 1 phone call, email or text message from anyone inquiring about membership. Sad because I was hoping with the last few movies that have come out in the last year on the topic of life on the frontier, that we would have seen a rise in membership.

If anyone in the Calif. co. is interested in having a encampment at Apache canyon, please contact me and I'll get something going or if you'd rather have it at Don's or at Beckys ranch in Hollister, just let me know so I can get on it and make it happen.

See you down the trail  your friend and brother
