THE CARD GAME "MONTIE"

with small tin storage container & brain tanned pouch.

Here's your complete gaming house in a brain tanned pouch with period brass tacks, sea shells and original trade beads. Period tin box with brass hinges and hasp and a complete deck of MONTIE cards with instructions. I have had this set for 20 years and its still in excellent to new condition, unused. Always found someone else playing this game and used their stuff!

Measurers - tin box 4 inches long by 2-1/2 inches wide by 1 inch deep.

I think an asking price of $25.00 plus postage is fair..

RAWHIDE BOX

Small Storage Box.

I have seen mention in camp journals from the F&I War to the Fur Trade of this type of small hide container used to keep ones goods. Some are plain and some quite fancy with paintings and fringe.

Here’s your chance to get a reproduction rawhide painted box that is correct from the F&I War to the Fur Trade. This box measurers 2-3/4 inches wide by 3 inches deep by 6-1/2 inches long. It is hand painted with period paint and brush by our own "Quill" Smith. Just the right size to keep those small items needed while in camp or on the trail.

I think an asking price of $15.00 plus postage is fair..

HORN CUP

PERIOD Drinking Cup.

I have seen a number of camp journals from the F&I War to the American Civil War that mention large numbers of men using the equipment they brought with them when entering the war. One of those items mentioned is the horn drinking cup - some very plain while others where very fancy with scrimshawed figures and names of their owner or military units served.

Here’s your chance to get a reproduction horn drinking cup. This one has a scrimshawed pair of crossed paddles and a circled cross in the center. No other markings are found which is nice for the new owner to add his name or sign to. Measurers 2-3/4 inches wide by 2-1/2 inch deep, just right to carry on your belt.

I think an asking price of $15.00 plus postage is fair..
